What Engineers Do

What have Engineers Dale Shrode and Tim Togneri found?

What at first blush appeared to be a grease duct fire....

....was actually an electrical fire in a wall.

The fire was hemmed in by fire-stopping in the structural members.

Ever alert, engineers keep the water flowing at full capacity.

MULHOLLAND PLUNGE

A 2004 Mercedes went for a joyride without its owner.

The SUV obeyed the laws of gravity after its owner failed to fully engage the vehicle in park on a driveway above famed Mulholland Drive.

The Mercedes did a little brush clearance on its way down to its final resting space.

A not-so-plush interior.

The luxury vehicle rolled backwards down this driveway until it couldn't make the turn.

It was all downhill from there.

A rare traffic jam along scenic Mulholland.
