Chuck Butler Joins The Battalion 14 Command Team
Newly promoted Battalion Chief Chuck Butler has been assigned to the "B" Platoon in Battalion 14. Chuck replaces retired Battalion Chief Evan Williams. Chief Butler brings with him a diverse background and will be a valuable asset to Battalion 14. 
Chuck joined the Fire Department in August of 1980 (a great class) and promoted to Apparatus Operator in May of 1985. He promoted to Captain in March of 1992 and then to Captain II in January of 2003. In June of 2007, Chuck was promoted to Battalion Chief and assigned to Battalion 14.
Chief Butler has been assigned to many areas of the City, including South Los Angeles, Downtown, and Hollywood. He is USAR certified and served for several years at the Bureau of Emergency Services Liaison Officer.
Chief Butler is congratulated on his promotion to Battalion Chief by Fire Chief Douglas Barry.
