BATTALION 14 MEMBERS TOUR FIRE MUSEUM
On Friday, August 11 Battalion 14 "B" Platoon members visited the LAFD Museum and Fallen Firefighters Memorial at Old Fire Station 27 in Hollywood. Following a brief presentation on the Wellness Program members were given a personal tour of the Museum by 2004 Firefighter of the Year Captain II Jim Finn.
The Museum and Memorial volunteers have dedicated thousands of hours of their time in an effort to put together what is already a fitting tribute to the history and lore of our Department. Battalion 14 members were very impressed with the Museum and the items on display. On behalf of all of our members we thank you for your efforts and would like you to know that they are very much appreciated.
