BATTALION 14 RED LINE DRILL 4/9/06
Battalion 14 participated in a Red Line Drill on Sunday. Staff Assistant Chris Granucci (shown above) was able to talk Metro authorities at the ROC into letting him drive the Rescue Train. During the post-drill critique S/A Granucci was asked about his once in a lifetime opportunity and stated " I had a real swell time. It was really neat ".Asked to comment about his Staff Assistant Chief Williams stated "I think the picture speaks for itself ".

Wow, you guys have sure been busy. Amazing that I can watch all the goings on in Battalion 14 from anywhere...tonight I'm in Asheville, NC, but I can give you a SoCal weather report. Looks like the heavy stuff will hold off 'til Thursday night, but it will be a dreaded cutoff low...it could sit off the coast and thumb its nose at us! Stay dry...we're off to Charleston, SC tomorrow.
