BATTALION 14 ANNUAL INSPECTION
On October 16, 17 and 18 the members of Battalion 14 stood Annual Inspection. The members of FS 60, FS 78, FS 86, FS 89, FS 97, FS 102 and FS 108 "A", "B" and "C" Platoons completed EXTENSIVE preparation for the inspection. Personnel, Apparatus, Quarters and Records were inspected by the Bureau, Division and Battalion Commanders.
The amount of time and effort the members put forth in preparing for this year's inspection was clearly evident. In addition to the "routine" cleaning and polishing, members at many stations completed "above and beyond" tasks, often using their own funds. Members constructed cabinets and shelving, fabricated storage units, installed tile flooring, replaced window blinds, etc. and basically gave an all out-no expense spared effort to stand tall.
The Battalion 14 Commanders would like to make one thing perfectly clear to all members...
YOU ALL STOOD TALL AT ANNUAL INSPECTION! Your actions were in the finest tradition of our Department and you need to know that.....
